Event Information:
This route takes in the National Trust protected area of Middle Hope, which delivers trail runs along cliff tops and sheep tracks as well as out onto a peninsula jutting into the sea. From there we cross the beach, which is a 2k run to Kewstoke Woods where we will run through woodland trails for 7-8km before returning via a beach run to the car park
Distance - Approx. 18km
Elevation - Approx. 271m
Terrain - Sheep trails, rocky paths, woodland trails and sandy beach
Difficulty - Intermediate
Leader - Jason Dickson
To take part in this event you should be able to run 10k in 60 minutes or less. The average pace on the route will be around 06.00/mpkm.
Essential Kit:
Trail shoes, head torch with fresh batteries, appropriate clothing and a waterproof layer if necessary.
Enough food and water for the distance, if you need it.
Hand sanitiser and face mask for emergencies
