Event Information:
We will meet by the roadside car park just past the Tafarn Y Garreg pub in the Brecon Beacons. From here we will run up the side of Fan Brycheiniog and follow the ridge to the summit passing over the peak of Fan Hir. We will cross over two other summits (Bannau Sir Gaer and Waun Lefrith) before descending and taking a valley trail back to the car park, meandering around lakes and goat tracks. To take part in this event you should be fit for running hills and should be able to run 21km on mountainous terrain comfortably.
Approximate Distance: 21km
Approximate Elevation: 950m
Expected Terrain: Sheep trails, rocky paths, lots of ascent and descent

Entry Requirements: This is a tough run requiuring participants to have reasonable fell running experience
Essential Kit:
All kit on this list is essential, regardless of the weather or your exerience level. We will be completing kit spot checks for safety.
- Trail running shoes
- Head torch with spare batteries
- Waterproof jacket with taped seams
- Appropriate clothing for the weather
- Minimum 1000ml of water
- Some form of sodium in food or drink
- Minimum 400kcal of food
- Fully charged mobile phone
- Survival bag or foil blanket
- Gloves and warm hat or buff
- Spare, warm change of clothes in the car
- Towel in the car
- Spare food and drink in the car
